THE TRAILHEAD

From Panama City to the Interior: Just before the entrance to Coronado along the American Highway, take a road that goes to the right. Take that road all the way to end and it leads to the Laguna de San Carlos. When you reach a Y at the end of the paved road turn right and you will drive right up to the parking lot of the Laguna. They are 21 km from the Highway to the parking lot of the Laguna.

THE TRAIL

This path allows you to walk around the lagoon and find other areas for bathing and camping.

The Farmers Association for Sustainable Development of the La Laguna(APRODESOL) manage the area. In the lagoon there are areas for camping, a small restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner on request. You may rent boats and walk around the lake.

Adults $ 1.00 - Children 0.50

For camping fees range from $ 5.00 - $ 10.00 depending on the size of the tent and they charge $ 2.00 per person per night to camp.
