Activity involves some physical effort, but in relative comfort. This applies to short walks down dirt roads or trails well maintained with little or no slope.

THE TRAILHEAD

The Parque Natural Metropolitano is located at the end of Via Juan Pablo II. Trailheads are easily located from the visitor’s center.

THE TRAIL

The Momótides Trail is relatively flat with a slight rise in the middle and is perfect to take children who wish to interact with the rainforest

FACILITIES

The Visitor Center has restrooms, water fountain and a souvenir shop.

THE TIPS

Trail is well marked so you do not need a guide, but if you want to learn more about the flora and fauna of the area a guide can be very helpful. (Reservation required).

For safety it is recommended not to go alone.

  4. Rain jacket (rainy season)
