THE TRAILHEAD

The Parque Natural Metropolitano is located at the end of Via Juan Pablo II. Trailheads are easily located from the visitor’s center.

THE TRAIL

The trails can be explored without a guide, but you can get more knowledge about the flora and fauna of the park through a guide if you make a reservation in advance.

The circuit of Caobos – El Roble Loop combines both trails. The Caobos Trail strats uphill and reaches a maximum elevation of 87 meters (285 ft) where there is a small gazebo and then starts downhill.

The El Roble Trail is flat and intersects in the middle with the Caobos Trail which you can use to loop back to the Visitors Center or continue on to some of the park’s other trails.

Seasonal Elements: Accessible year round

FACILITIES

The Visitor Center has restrooms, water fountain and a souvenir shop.
